To generate our own electricity and produce CO₂, we made the switch to CHP installations early on. In Middenmeer, we’ve taken it a step further by using geothermal energy in collaboration with a cluster of companies.
We also pursue sustainability in other ways. Our greenhouses are built with a modern setup that minimizes energy loss. Drain water is recycled, so valuable resources aren't wasted. And with biological crop protection, we create near food-safe growing conditions for our tomatoes and cucumbers.
