Since 2009, we’ve been based at the Agriport A7 horticulture center in the northern tip of North Holland. Several growers from the Westland region have settled here, drawn by the opportunity for large-scale production. The growing conditions are also similar to those in Westland.
Relocating to Middenmeer gave us the chance to build a state-of-the-art facility for tomato cultivation. From greenhouses and installations to energy systems—everything is in place to support optimal production.

One company, two modern locations
Red Harvest in Middenmeer

Six units of 7.5 hectares
As of 2024, the Middenmeer location has expanded to 45 hectares of built area. To ensure optimal efficiency, the site was developed in segments of 7.5 hectares each. All six units follow the same modern blueprint: a Venlo greenhouse with 8-meter trellis height, 1.67-meter glass width, and a gutter height of 6.85 meters.
The greenhouses are equipped with hanging gutters and a pipe rail system. A new feature in the latest unit is the use of diffuse glass—a type of glass proven to offer better conditions for tomato cultivation.

One of our locations is in De Lier, on Laan van Boekesteijn. This site, built in 1998, covers 5.8 hectares. It features Venlo greenhouses with an 8-meter trellis structure. The administrative office of Red Harvest is also located here.
